This website aims to be a source of information about the EORTC 10981-22023 AMAROS study. AMAROS stands for: After Mapping of the Axilla: Radiotherapy Or Surgery? The AMAROS study is a phase III randomized clinical trial set up by the EORTC (European Organisation for Research and Treatment of Cancer) Breast Cancer Group in collaboration with the Radiation Oncology Group. Inclusion started in 2001 and was completed in April 2010, after a successful accrual of 4823 patients by 34 active centres around Europe.
