How to reach the LUMC by train
From Amsterdam: regular train services (every 15 minutes) from Amsterdam Central Station via Schiphol International Airport and via Haarlem to Leiden. Takes about 35 minutes.
From The Hague: High frequency express and local trains (at least every 15 minutes) from Central Station and Station Den Haag Hollands Spoor to Leiden Central Station. Takes about 15 minutes.
From Rotterdam: regular express and local trains (every 15 minutes) via Den Haag Holland Spoor to Leiden Central Station. Takes about 35 minutes.
From Utrecht: local train to Leiden Lammenschans and Leiden Central Station every 30 minutes. Takes about 50 minutes.
International trains from Germany, Belgium and France arrive in Amsterdam Central Station, The Hague Central Station and Station Den Haag Hollands Spoor and in Rotterdam Central Station. In these stations you have to change trains for Leiden Central station.
The Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC)
is located at 5 minutes walking distance from Leiden Central Railway
Station. The event will take place in Lecture Hall 5 in the main building of the LUMC.
Please note there is only room for 140 persons in this lecture hall.
Please do not wait with your registration. The
building is located at 300 m from the Leiden Central Station.
